Robust dehumidifiers
Water damage often occurs in narrow and cold buildings. In those kind of environments, the equipment must be robust, easy to install, and easy to handle. All Seibu Giken DST dehumidifiers are in stainless steel and are developed to endure tough environments.

Easy to handle
The smallest DST dehumidifier is 12 kg and has one side free from spigots so that it can be placed against a wall. The DR-units may be placed on top of each other and the feet are adjustable. The slide system makes the dehumidifier easy to dismantle for both internal cleaning and service.

Easy to connect
All DST’s dehumidifiers for water damage restoration have standard-sized hoses to simplify air connections. The A-30B/Bp does not need any wet air outlet since it condenses out the water into a container. The container is equipped with a floater which turns off the unit when the container is full. The water can also be led to the nearest drain by a standard flexible hose.

Dehumidification of cold rooms
All DST dehumidifiers for water damage restoration are sorption dehumidifiers and operate below 0°C.

Large mobile dehumidifiers
Large dehumidifiers get mobile with wagons. For serious water damage, the R-060BR is often used and it can be equipped with a wagon that can easily be mounted and dismounted.  Also, the A-30B/Bp offers the wagon as an option.

FAQ

  1. Do dehumidifiers work for water damage? Dehumidifiers are highly effective for water damage recovery. They work by extracting excess moisture from the air, accelerating the drying process of wet surfaces and materials. DST dehumidifiers, known for their robust construction and efficient performance, are particularly reliable in restoring environments affected by water damage swiftly and effectively.
  2. Can you get water damage from humidity? Yes, prolonged exposure to high humidity levels can lead to water damage in buildings. Elevated humidity levels promote condensation on surfaces, which can lead to mold growth, structural deterioration, and other forms of water damage. DST’s specialized dehumidifiers are designed to mitigate these risks by maintaining optimal humidity levels and preventing moisture-related issues.
  3. How do you dehumidify after a water leak? After a water leak, it’s crucial to promptly dehumidify the affected area to prevent further damage. DST dehumidifiers excel in such situations by rapidly removing excess moisture from the air and surfaces. This not only accelerates the drying process but also helps prevent mold growth and structural damage, ensuring thorough restoration and minimizing downtime.
  4. Will a dehumidifier get rid of water? While a dehumidifier does not physically remove standing water, it effectively reduces humidity levels in the air, which speeds up evaporation and drying of wet surfaces and materials. DST’s innovative dehumidification technology enhances this process, making it an efficient solution for addressing water-damaged environments and restoring them to their optimal condition.
